Constitution and By-Laws

Part 1 Article I

Name

This Association formed the organization on March 2, 1946. This Association became the Certificate of Incorporation in the state of New York on June 8, 1981. This Association filed
the Certificate of Amendment of under Section 803 of the Non-For-Profit Corporation Law
on February 23, 2004. This Association was approved by Internal Revenue Service to be recognized for Section 501(c)(3) on March 23, 2004. The name of this Association shall be
known as the Eastern Athletic Association of the Deaf, Incorporated (EAAD).

Article II

Affiliation

This Association may be affiliated with national sports organization(s) of the deaf serving similar goals and objectives of the Association.
