Article III

Objects

The purpose of this Association is:
                To foster and improve deaf athletics throughout its territory in accordance with
                the standards and under the rules and regulations prescribed by the national
                sport organization.
To protect and promote the mutual interests of the member clubs of the deaf.
To institute, regulate and award athletic championship of this Association.
To conduct annual regional basketball and softball championship tournaments.
To send the basketball and softball championship teams to represent this Association to annual national basketball and softball tournaments.
To establish regional goals athletic activities and encourage attainment of the goals.
