Basketball Guideline

SUBSECTION 7(d).   Award prizes shall be equal for both men and women teams.

SECTION 8.   Championship Teams.

The championship teams representing the winners of the Basketball Championship Tournament that shall participate in the national basketball tournament shall be reimbursed as follows:

                                               i.   The championship team shall receive based on number of teams
                                                     participating, in the Basketball Championship Tournament: 1 to 3
                                                     teams, two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00), 4-7 teams five hundred
                                                     dollars ($500.00), 8-12 teams eight hundred dollars ($800.00) and
                                                     13 teams or more receives one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) for
                                                     its expenses to the national basketball tournament.

                                              ii.   If this championship team is unable to participate, the runner-up shall
                                                     replace the championship team and the runner-up shall receive the
                                                     money, not the championship team.
