1977 Eastern Athletic Association of the Deaf, Inc. (EAAD) – Hall of Fame

An outstanding player for the Philadelphia, SAC. He had a career of 226 points in the EAAD Basketball Tournaments. John netted 62 points in three games in the 1953 tourney. In the 1955 finals, he scored a total of 56 points and led his teammates with 17 points losing to Buffalo. He popped in 25 and 32 points in the 1956 classic. John was voted the Most Valuable Player in the 1953 Softball classic. As pitcher, he helped Philadelphia, SAC cop the EAAD title by winning three games and hitting two home runs.
