Probably the best one-hand hook, dead-eye shooting clutch player in the Buffalo Association of the Deaf´s history was Frank Drone who led his championship team with 22 points in the 1947 EAAD final, 21 points in the 1948 thrilling final against Newark, 33 points against Silent Athletic Club of Pennsylvania in 1955 and eight crucial points against Beaver Valley of Pittsburgh in the 1957 thriller.   Frank was high
scorer with 61 points in three games in the 1947
EAAD classic.   He was honored to receive the EAAD Most Valuable Player in 1947 and 1955.   He ended
the career with 182 points for an average of 15 points
a game.   Frank scored 25 points to lead his Buffalo
team defeat powerful Des Moines for the national championship in 1948 and the media claimed
that Frank Drone beat Des Moines.   He was an
All-American at St. Mary´s School for the Deaf,
